WRSF organized a study of the Charity Law to improving professional quality

According to the annual training plan of the Western Returned Scholars Foundation (WRSF), in order to improve staff’s professional quality, on the morning of May 24, the secretariat of the WRSF organized a study of the Charity Law of the People's Republic of China.Liang Wenmei, deputy secretary general of WRSF hosted the meeting. The study was carried out by learning the content of the Charity Law, take time in understanding the concept. After reading through the text, the group studied more than 10 topic, including the concept of  charitable organizations, what charitable organizations should pay attention to, what principles they should abide by, the scope and content of charitable activities, the qualifications that charitable organizations should have, charitable donations, asset management, and information disclosure.

Each of the participants talked about their experiences, and they all agreed that: First, deep learning on collective topics is very important. When people learn together, they could encourage  each other, so that they could improve together. Second, to strengthen self-study, detailed study and deep understanding of the relevant laws and regulations of their respective positions, become a learner, user and reader of the laws and regulations in this field of institutions. Third, keep the study of regulations in mind and take action to provide more professional and better public service to donors, volunteers, beneficiaries and other stakeholders.


After the study of the Charity Law, WRSF members watched the revolutionary historical drama Glory and Dream as part of the Party History Learning.
