Establish work ideas and strive to achieve fast and high-quality development

Mo Wenxiu proposes four requirements for the next step of work of WRSF.

First, we should further establish our working ideas: work hard for talent development, public health, and helping international exchanges. The foundation should give full play to its own organizational and work advantages, and strive to foster a favorable atmosphere for the return of overseas talent, technology and capital. We make efforts to create brands and make a difference in serving public health. To play the function of public charity, based on domestic and international, to contribute to the development of good international civil exchange.

Secondly, we give full play to the role of the board of directors and the supervisors to strengthen the leadership and supervision of the foundation and to ensure the correct development direction of the foundation. The board members and supervisors are all established and influential people from all walks of life and have deep feelings for charity. The board is not only the leadership and decision-making body of the foundation, but also the think tank and resource bank of the foundation. We should unite to make the board an excellent leadership collective of public welfare organizations, make joint efforts to cultivate the talent echelon of the foundation, and promote the formation of a "culture for all" atmosphere.

Significant achievements in infrastructure, fundraising and more

Zhang Rujie, vice chair and secretary general of WRSF reviews WRSF’s work in 2020 from five aspects.

First, strengthening party building and comprehensively and strictly governing WRSF have achieved remarkable results. In accordance with the requirements of the competent authorities, the foundation amended and improved the regulation of the foundation, including the strengthening of party building in the regulation, as the basic principles of the foundation. The trend of strict governance of foundations has taken shape and is consolidating.

Second, we will make comprehensive rectification and basically solve key and difficult problems of foundations in a short period of time. On November 15, 2019, after Mo Wenxiu was approved by the four departments at the higher level to be the legal representative of WRSF, she focused on the key points and restarted the work of the foundation in stages, and basically solved the key and difficult problems in a relatively short period of time.

Third, formulate the Plan for the 2021-2025 WRSF. On October 22, 2020, the first plenary meeting of the 5th board of directors of the foundation was held, and the leadership team of the foundation with Mo Wenxiu as the chair was elected. The Plan for the WRSF (2021-2025) has been adopted, which lays out the blueprint and basic guidelines for the foundation's development in the next step.

Fourth, major breakthroughs were made in infrastructure development. Fifth, the fund-raising and project management have made significant achievements. 2020 WRSF fund-raising has grown from zero to 41.3 million yuan. On December 15, 2020, WRSF, Tianhe Intelligent Industry Technology (Beijing) Co and Tianjin Beichen district initiate the "Innovation and Entrepreneurship Fund" which created the first cooperation between WRSF and local Party committees and governments

The year of 2021 is the Year of Infrastructure Construction of WRSF

2021 is a for WRSF to build its infrastructure construction. With Party building as the leading position, the foundation puts the people first in its work, further strengthens team building, and carries out various work tasks according to law and regulations.

We will focus on the following three tasks. First, we will work to ensure regulation implementation. Realize the regulation implementation, standardized management of foundations and strengthen the team building.

Second, the establishment of three platforms. WRSF and Shenzhen Qianhai Administration Bureau plan to jointly build an overseas talent innovation and entrepreneurship base for WRSF (including Hong Kong and Macao). In cooperation with relevant hospitals and enterprises, WRSF health cooperation center has been set up in Lecheng International Medical Tourism Pilot Zone, Boao, Hainan. Relevant enterprises in Inner Mongolia take silkworm as the starting point, sand control as the platform, protect the environment.  

Third, we will focus on six key tasks. We will further promote the implementation of the High-Level Innovation and Entrepreneurship Fund, and plan to set up the China Think Tank Development Fund and the online car-hailing project. Priority will be given to the implementation of the "two prevention and one consolidation" project, that is, through high-tech health screening assistance, to help prevent disease, prevent poverty-returning, consolidate the achievements of poverty alleviation, and revitalize rural areas. Promote projects like the Shoushan Stone Intangible Cultural Heritage Industrial Park. Tell the foundation's story well and make information public.

The main colour of the logo is adjusted to Chinese red to better reflect the Chinese elements.
