In early July 2021, Weihui City in Henan Province suffered two extreme rainfall events, with a cumulative rainfall of 903.3 mm, which affected nearly 300,000 people.

After the disaster, in order to help Weihui City carry out comprehensive disinfection work and prevent the epidemic that is prone to occur after the flood, the Western Returned Scholars Foundation (WRSF) took active action and joined hands with Zhongxi Dongting Biotechnology Co., Ltd. to donate 3,031 bottles of Lingzhi Water(Dongting Biological Antibacterial Liquid)to the government of Weihui City, Henan Province, with a total value of more than RMB 500,000.

Lingzhi Water(Dongting Biological Antibacterial Liquid)has an antibacterial effect on E. coli, Staphylococcus aureus and Candida albicans, and is effective against mosquitoes that breed after flooding, as well as daily disinfection and protection. The supplies were delivered to the affected areas on 19 August.
